Oyo State Football Coaches Association Elects New Leadership

Nigeria Football Coaches Association ( NFCA), Oyo State chapter, on Wednesday held their congress at the Trans Amusement Park, Ibadan and elections were also conducted into different Executive posts, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The outgoing executives led by Coach M.I Orok (chairman) thanked the delegate for their supports throughout his tenure and his board was dissolved to give way for the incoming Executive Committee.
The Electoral Committee led by Mr Samuel Monye announced the name of all the contestants and the positions they were vying for.
In attendance for the election was vice chairman of National coaches association Dr Salami, other dignitaries were also in attendance to observe the election.
At the end of the election, Mr Festus Adegoju emerged the chairman of the association unopposed.
Coach Akinkunmi Isogun clinched the General Secretary position, Shooting Stars assistant coach Yinka Popoola was voted in as Public Relation Officer, while Shooting Stars head of Academy Ayo Adeyemo claimed the position of training officer.
Adegoju, while speaking to BSNSports.com.ng, said his main objectives is to technically and tactically develop the coaches.
"My aim is to ensure that coaches develop tactically, technically and in every ramification in order to be able to impact on the players appropriately," he said.
He further said by the time his tenure will end in the next four years he hopes to leave the coaches better than the way he met them.
